Woven storage basket
₪129
A woven basket in jute fibre, 35 cm across and 40 cm tall. The size is deliberate: it holds two days of laundry for a couple and still fits under the sink in a standard bathroom.
The sides are stiff enough that it stands up on its own when empty — soft fabric baskets collapse inward and look untidy. The handles are woven into the structure rather than glued on, so they do not come away after a few months.
Jute is a natural fibre and absorbs moisture, so avoid leaving the basket on a permanently wet floor. In a bathroom with a window or a fan this is not an issue. In a closed laundry corner, stand it on a low shelf.
Beyond laundry, this is the most useful basket in a home: toys in the living room, throws by the sofa, shoes at the entrance.
